refugees in Romania
After Russia declared war on Ukraine on February 24, 2022, we felt led by the Spirit to help in any way we could. We ended a teaching outreach early in Armenia and headed to the YWAM base in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Hundreds of Ukrainian women, elderly, and children sought sanctuary. Through the generosity of millions, the YWAM base in Cluj was able to serve countless Ukrainian families as they endured unimaginable physical and emotional trials. While working with the base, we served the Ukrainians in Romania until December 2022, providing housing, meals, English tutoring, childcare, and special events. It was a special season to witness how the Lord provided for each family we encountered.
